Tim and Kristi Hughes have been married since 2003 and have 4 biological children ranging in age from 8 to 2 and three adopted African American triplets that are 16 years old.  Tim is a graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO with a degree in Youth Ministry and Bible.  Kristi has a degree from Word of Life Bible Institute in NY.  Tim comes to Marysville with 10 years of youth ministry service in the state of Texas.  Most recently he and Kristi served as house parents at a children’s home in Missouri for abused and neglected children.  The Hughes have a passion for building relationships with teens, working one on one to see them accept Christ, and seeing people grow in their love for Jesus.  Tim oversees student ministries from children to college students.  Tim loves good Mexican salsa and chips and believes nothing can compare to what is found in Texas.  He loves a good laugh and finds humor in just about everything.

Pastor of Silver Eagles Ministries

Gerald Manchester

Gerald has served in church ministry for over 40 years in places like Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN, Southwinds Baptist Church in Tomball, TX and Oak Lake Baptist Church in Sugar Land, TX.  Gerald is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN.  Though “retired” he continues to be very active as part time staff serving our “Silver Eagles.”  He and his wife Donna are originally from the Port Huron area and have been married seven years.  They each lost their first spouse a number of years ago. Between them they have 11 children, 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren!  They moved back to Michigan three years ago knowing that God was not finished using them.  Gerald has a dream of one day owning and riding a Can-Am Spider, but he has yet to convince Donne.  We are so thrilled having Gerald and Donna with us serving our senior adults.
